My Top 5 List of Online Poker Rooms

There are a lot of online poker rooms out there and even more people online telling you which sites are the best. I never really seem to agree with any of the other lists of top online poker rooms so I wanted to give you all my list of top online poker rooms. I am living in the United States, so of course my list is a bit inaccurate because I can only list poker rooms that I am allowed to play in. There are some pretty good rooms I used to play in before all this U.S. online poker stuff started happening, but now us Americans are limited. Still, these are some very good poker rooms that offer some great features, starting with Full Tilt.

In my opinion, Full Tilt is the best poker room on the net. There is everything you could possibly need from this poker room. The graphics are great, the competition is fairly loose and there is an unbelievable amount of options. I have never once had to wait for a game at Full Tilt. The software is top of the line (maybe the best). I am a big multi-table player, so that is a must. Needless to say (being my number one pick), Full Tilt allows for multi-table play, and the software supports it well. The customer support is pretty good; not the best…but I have never had any problems. Best of all, they just added bank wire to their list of withdrawal methods (even for the U.S. players). Making it a lot easier to withdrawal money was a big boost, that put them from the number 2 spot to the number 1 spot on my list of online poker rooms.

Being from the U.S. there is no way I couldn’t have Pokerstars on my list of prime time poker rooms online. Once again, Pokerstars has it all. You can play as many tables at the same time as you need and the software is very reliable. I like to switch up poker rooms between a few different rooms. This is the place where I play my tournaments. I am a big cash game player, but I do like to get involved with some of the major online tournaments. There is absolutely no better place online to play online poker tournaments than at Pokerstars. I do not like their graphics very much and they won’t let me change my picture (because I have changed it too much). Besides that, the poker room is outstanding.



Now this is my money maker right here. I cannot go more than a couple of days without playing at least one or two session at Ultimate Bet. There are so many terrible players on this site. I am not sure what it is. As far as multi-table play goes, I haven’t found a poker room that supports it better than Ultimate Bet does. I enjoy playing on Full Tilt more than Ultimate bet, but it is just too profitable to not play here. They do have very good software and a nice amount of traffic as well. I have nothing bad to say about Ultimate Bet; they are right up there with the other two on my list of poker rooms.

Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet have become a team. There is a lot of talk that the two will soon combine to be one poker room. You can see that they are a team, because the two are almost the same poker room. The only difference is that the graphics are a little different and the colors are different. Besides that everything is pretty much the same. The customer support is good, the software is very good and the competition is weak. I have found some of the best games at Absolute. I have made the biggest profits at this poker room, but it seems inconsistent. Of course, that is probably just me.



I do not have a whole lot of experience at Doyles Room, but I do like it for a change. This poker room offers a lot of unique varieties and they have some good graphics. I like to play tournaments here, but have never gotten real serious so far. I pretty much just stick to the rooms above for the most part. Give it a try anyways, and let me know what you think. Until then, I cannot accurately give you the best rundown of this poker room. Solid software, I do know they have great customer support and a lot of deposit methods. From what I could see, the competition was weak too. There are a lot of beginners in this poker room which is always a good thing.

So that concludes my top 5 list of online poker rooms. I will keep the list updated as things change. All of these poker rooms are consistently changing and updating. It is normally for the better though. My advice would be to try out all 5 of them. I play on Full tilt, Pokerstars and Ultimate Bet daily.
